Christiana Alagbe
Christiana is an experienced Credit Risk Professional (commercial, small business, and consumer), and a financial educator with a demonstrated 13-year history of working in the banking industry.
Christiana started her banking career in 2007 at GTBank, Lagos, Nigeria as an Account Officer, where she was responsible for structuring credit facilities for small businesses and retail customers, helping customers achieve their financial goals.
Upon her relocation to the United States in 2010, she continued to pursue her interest in the banking industry, and has worked in various departments, from branch operations to commercial lending, and most recently, in credit risk management as a Senior Portfolio Manager. In her current role, she manages loan portfolios to achieve the bank’s overall goal of maintaining a strong asset quality by drawing on her expertise in credit analysis, financial statement analysis, loan documentation, loan review, and loan structuring.
Christiana is passionate about financial education, and is a member of the Inner Circle Leadership (ICL) at her church where she assists with financial planning. Christiana holds an MBA from the New England College of Business and Finance.
Family is important to Christiana- she is a proud mother of two girls.
